Thank you so much for your lessons and arrangements on guitarnoise.com. I think they’re great and you are just an excellent teacher. I’ve bought numerous guitar books and dvd’s and the only materials that are comparable in terms of advancing my learning curve are Mark Hanson’s books…I hope you’ll take that as a compliment. I’m a country doctor in southwest virginia and being surrounded by great musicians here, I was inspired a couple of years ago to pick up the guitar. Unfortunately, I haven’t inherited the music gene that so many of my neighbors are blessed with. Your lessons and arrangements helped lift me over a dry spell in my playing by learning lots of new songs relatively quickly. Thanks so much!

Hi Bill
Being compared to Mark Hanson is a huge compliment and I thank you very much for that. For what it’s worth, more people than not have to work at music, rather than just having it just come “naturally” (which isn’t really the best choice of words). I’m glad that my work at Guitar Noise is being of help to you and I hope that you continue to find all the lessons and articles at our website to be valuable assets to you as you learn more and more about the guitar.
